New Hope Class: A Holistic After-School Program
Dikshya Foundation proudly offers the New Hope Class, an after-school program for the students of Shree Indra Basic School in Ramkot, Nagarjun-7, Kathmandu. This initiative takes place once a week on Fridays for approximately 1.5 hours. The program is facilitated by university students participating in the Foundation’s internship program, as well as dedicated volunteers.
The New Hope Class provides a variety of engaging activities, including arts and crafts, sports, drawing, and doodling for younger children. The program also features both indoor and outdoor activities designed to promote physical and creative development. In addition to these fun and interactive sessions, we help students reinforce their regular school lessons, ensuring a well-rounded educational experience.
We place a strong emphasis on teaching personal hygiene practices at school and frequently conduct home visits to ensure that students maintain good health at home. These New Hope Class activities are designed to make learning enjoyable, fostering a supportive and enriching environment for the students.
