Sharing Stories Across Cultures
With support from ADRF Korea, we receive fairy tale books that have been translated from Korean to English by Korean middle and high school students.
Our university volunteers then translate them into Nepali, making these wonderful stories accessible to thousands of Nepali children.
Book Uses:
- Read-aloud sessions in After School Classes
- Free distribution to schools and libraries
- Literacy promotion in underserved communities
This multilingual collaboration fosters global citizenship and supports early childhood literacy. By introducing culturally diverse stories in the Nepali language, we spark curiosity, enhance reading comprehension, and encourage storytelling as an essential part of learning.
